Architecture has the responsibility of transforming the physical world. If we learn how to touch the earth in a sensitive way we can leave nature better than we found it.

Each house is designed in tune with the patterns of the sun and connected with the movement of the wind. The water cycle of the homes nurtures the soil and fruit trees while keeping the health of the aquifer.

We enhance the biodiversity of the place through a set of Peaceful Places design principles. The land of the project has been undergoing two years of regeneration through ancient farming techniques to ready it for healthy gardens. Fruit trees have been planted and bees have been brought to pollinate the trees.

This development is the result of 18-year research and expert experiential journey.

The community gardens

The development of the houses is just as important as the development of the fruit & vegetable gardens.

Each corner of the block will function as a public space. They will offer shaded spaces to sit, fruits to eat from the trees, contemplate the flowers and bees, or share a moment with other people around.

The gardens enhance the quality of life using traditional Mayan technologies combined with contemporary agriculture practices, leaving the place better than how we found it.

Living beyond the 6 senses

When in a place, we pick up more information than just from our six senses. Humans have the capacity to improve our sensitivity and raise our health. Here you will be able to enjoy a constant symphony of nature.

Bees, Funghi, and thousands of species are present on the land and are always sending out healthy signals. The soil is alive and speaks to the trees in the same way. Sending millions of messages every day to all living beings around.

We understand these deep connections and have infused this natural phenomenon into every single home.

Is an assemblage of spaces that are designed to bring the community together. An intertwining pair of ribbons made of local wood allows for the visitor to cook & eat, spend the night, learn something new or simply sit and contemplate nature as it flows around.

Security in an innovative way

The boundary between the homes and the street is designed for kind and safe experiences.

Each of the 12 homes will have a door made of beautiful wood from the region. The color of the doors will be chosen by every client.
