Carles Dumont

General Manager

Carles Dumont, founder of Mexico Luxury Properties, holds a civil engineering degree from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Before moving to Mexico he worked as a wildland firefighter and emergency medical technician — environments where discipline, composure under pressure and genuine commitment to people are not optional. Those are exactly the same qualities he brings to real estate.

He arrived in Playa del Carmen fourteen years ago with no intention of staying. He stayed.

It was through the relationships he built in those early years that he identified what was missing: a firm that combined deep market knowledge with a standard of client care that, at the time, was nowhere to be found in the industry. Mexico Luxury Properties was born from that conviction.

Today the firm covers exclusive residential project sales, developer consulting and design and construction services. Carles is a founding member of AMII, a state-certified agent in Quintana Roo, and a member of AMPI and NAR.

María Herrera

María Herrera is from Hermosillo, Sonora, and studied Business Administration before landing in Cancún twelve years ago. What she found was the luxury hotel industry — an environment that taught her how to handle demanding clients, maintain high standards under pressure and make things work when it matters most.

Hospitality eventually felt too small.

Real estate gave her what hotels couldn’t: the chance to guide someone through a decision that changes their life, not just their stay. A state-certified agent in Quintana Roo and active member of AMPI and NAR, María now leads the sales team at Mexico Luxury Properties. She knows every property in the catalogue, every buyer profile and every stage of the process — and knows exactly what it takes to close well.

Raúl Espinosa

Raúl Espinosa

Raúl Espinosa is from Chihuahua and studied Finance at Tecnológico de Monterrey. He spent nearly a decade in manufacturing and cross-border trade — industries that taught him how to read markets with the kind of clear-eyed precision that only comes from being in them, with real money on the line.

He came to the Riviera Maya looking for a market with more momentum. He found one.

His edge in marketing doesn’t come from textbooks — it comes from having been on the other side. He understands how an investor thinks because he spent years working with them before dedicating himself to reaching them. At Mexico Luxury Properties, Raúl leads marketing strategy with that same analytical approach: campaigns that speak the buyer’s language, messaging built on data and a sharp sense of what actually moves people to act.

Andrea Molina

Andrea Molina

Andrea Molina is from Guadalajara and studied Marketing and International Commerce at ITESO. Before thirty she was already working with brands positioned across multiple international markets, where she learned something few people fully grasp: that the value of a product isn’t set by the person selling it — it’s set by the person presenting it well.

That’s what brought her to real estate.

As Portfolio Manager at Mexico Luxury Properties, Andrea is responsible for selecting, structuring and presenting every project in the catalogue. Her international commerce background gives her an uncommon perspective: she understands what a buyer from Houston, Toronto or Madrid is looking for — and works to make sure every property reflects that from the moment it appears on screen. The portfolio is the first conversation MLP has with a client. Andrea makes sure it’s the right one.
